Swim lessons must be registered for separately through the Stewartville Public Pool. Transportation registration is for transportation services only. Transportation is available for the following sessions and lesson times: Session 1: June 15–26 at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM Session 2: June 29–July 10 at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM By registering for transportation, families acknowledge a transportation fee of $30.00 per child per session. Tiger Time staff will assist children with loading and unloading the bus, remain on-site during swim lessons, and support children throughout all transitions. The Works MuseumTiger Time TripsStudents will be taking a trip to the Works Museum for a hands-on mini-catapult workshop and exploring the museum! Their interactive exhibits allow kids to complete electrical circuits, create connections with plumbing pipes, and build and test designs using K'NEX pieces, LEGO-style bricks, KEVA planks, and more! As they explore, students will discover the engineering behind infrastructure and everyday technology and engage with the engineering design process. We will be stopping at the Riverside Park in Cannon Falls, MN on our way to the museum to eat our sack lunches from home. Families must create an Arux account prior to registration. Wheel-Throwing PotteryCreative ExplorationsInstructor: Gabi Hale Unlock your creativity on the pottery wheel with expert guidance from Stewartville High School art teacher Gabi Hale! In this hands-on course, you will create a slab vase or cup. The first two days of class will be focused on learning the pottery wheel and technique; the following two classes will be dedicated to project building. White Water State ParkTiger Time TripsStudents will have the opportunity to explore nature firsthand at Whitewater State Park! Park staff will teach students about the bats that call Minnesota home, including a chance to observe some of the park’s resident bats up close. While enjoying their sack lunches from home in the picnic area, students will also learn how to identify differences between red and white varieties of several tree species.
