Adult Basic EducationDid you know that Stewartville Community Ed partners with Rochester Community Ed to offer Adult Basic Education (ABE) opportunities? Through the Hawthorne Adult Education Center in Rochester, ABE offers a variety of programming available to those 17+ who are not currently enrolled in another K-12 program. These programs range from getting your GED to English Learning, all the way to beginning your college career! ABE strives to help adult learners improve their academic skills in a learning environment that fosters student success. Child CareAt Tiger Time, we proudly serve families in the Stewartville School District by providing high-quality child care in a safe and welcoming environment. Our program is built on care, connection, and engaging experiences that support each child’s growth. Every day, we focus on creating a space where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn and play. Tiger Time is administered through the Community Education Department of Stewartville Public Schools (School District #534). Summer 2026 Enrollment opens: Monday, March 23, 2026 at 8:00 AM Summer Information Registration Process Eligibility: Children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall of 2026 Location: Bonner Elementary Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM First Day: Monday, June 15, 2026 Last Day: Friday, August 14, 2026 Closed Dates: Friday, June 19 & Friday, July 3 New this year is the Arux online registration system! Families must create an Arux account prior to registration. Step 1: Create Your Account: Create or log into your Arux account: https://ssd.arux.app/ Add your children and household members under Manage Family Members in your account settings. Step 2: Child Care Application: On the home screen, click the Child Care icon and then scroll down to Enroll Now. Complete the enrollment application. Step 3: Approval: Applications will be reviewed by staff. If approved, families will receive a confirmation email. At that time, the $50 application and supply fee will be charged to the saved payment method on file. Important: Registration is not finalized until the confirmation email is received. Please note: Enrollment may be limited based on available staff, space, and staff-to-child ratios. Priority will be given to currently enrolled families. Contract Options & Rates Contract Type Rates Program Details Scheduling Notes 5-Day Consistent $200/week ($40/day) Full-time care Monday-Friday. Includes 2 vacation days. Payment is due by Wednesday of the week prior. Email Tiger Time for absences. 4-Day Consistent $160/week ($40/day) During enrollment, families will select 4 consistent days. These days apply to each week throughout the summer. Includes 1 vacation day. Payment is due by Wednesday of the week prior. If you need to adjust your selected days later in the summer, you may submit a schedule change request through Arux. Pick Your Day $900 for 20 days ($45/day) During enrollment, families will select a minimum of 20 days for the summer. Any additional days are $45/day. Payment is due by Wednesday of the week prior. If you need to adjust your selected days later in the summer, you may submit a schedule change request through Arux. Summer 2027 Planning is already in progress! We hope to offer care for children enrolled in Tiger Tots Wrap Around through those entering 5th grade. Please stay tuned for more details to be shared. Enrollment Requirements Age: Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2026.Independence: Students must be fully potty trained by the start of class.Path to School: This program is typically intended for students who are two years away from starting kindergarten. Our 4-Year-Old classes are designed to prepare children for the exciting transition to kindergarten by deepening their social, emotional, and academic skills. For more information, you can access our Tiger Tots application through the Child Care webpage. Bussing is available through Schmitty & Sons Bus Company at the parents expense for residents within the Stewartville School District limits. All Preschool students enrolled by August 1, 2026 will receive a Transportation Form in mid-August with the option to sign-up for bussing.
